Tangles and Doodles: April 2013
http://daynastangles.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 28, 2013. My New Tangle Pattern: HELIOS. I wish I could say I remembered what inspired this pattern, but I was basically just in one of those moods where I just draw and think stuff up. I wanted to get "off the grid", and I was determined to come up with something that was based off 2 X's. Here's the step-by-step. And here are some variations and one with shading. Wednesday, April 24, 2013. The diva's weekly challenge #115 - Amanda Day - or Earth Day. Hope everyone's week is going great,.

Tangles and Doodles: December 2014
http://daynastangles.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 20, 2014. From the diva: Weekly Challenge #198: "K.I.S.S. (Keep it simple, silly! It's never been easy for me to refrain from over-thinking, and Zentangle has rarely been any exception. I often struggle with it, putting way too much thought into anything and everything. This week's KISS challenge is a welcome reminder for me, and I've got 2 tangles to show for it. I was drinking coffee. See the bean? Feel free to use the pattern if you like. :). Wednesday, February 26, 2014. This week from the Diva: Weekly Challenge #156: "Curvy Gridlock". Maybe everyone gets into a rut from time to time.I know that I sure do. Sometimes it amazes me how much the Weekly Challenge from the Diva. Later in the day, I took a break and decided it was time for a little meditation via Zentangle, and wouldn't you know it? For the first time, though. I really love that pattern and will be playing with it more. The string for this one was completely random, and the. The pa...

Tangles and Doodles: March 2013
http://daynastangles.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 30, 2013. My first original tangle pattern (I think). Squee-Fly. I have looked all over the inter-webs for every pattern I could lay eyeballs on, and still want more. Some time ago I started just letting myself doodle again, trying to find patterns in everyday things, and just letting it flow. This is what came out of my marker on the first go-round. (I submitted it to TanglePatterns.com. Just as it says above, if anyone has seen this under another name, please tell me. I couldn't resist ...

Tangles and Doodles: November 2014
http://daynastangles.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 20, 2014. After a LONG Hiatus.the diva's Weekly Challenge 194: “Embracing the Yuck”. I know we all slip off the face of the world for a while, and I really seem to have a talent for that. Since I last blogged here I found myself inundated with everything, from inside and out. Work, volunteering, sewing (more on that in a later post), traveling.combined with a mind that has decided to absolutely explode from all the stuff I want to do. It seemed like forever. Most uncomfortable for me?
