Sailing to the Caribbean and back. Ships Time 18.49 (GMT-2):. We’re now heading back across the Atlantic towards Madeira. It is still very warm, with a light wind and gentle swell to the sea. Tonight is another formal night. I must say that Dave and I are little fed up with getting “dicked-up” as we now call it. It is OK once or twice but P&O are taking it a bit too far. Date : November 19, 2007. Dad thats a beautiful picture its a shame i cannot say the same about the weather here!

Sailing to the Caribbean and back. Who goes on a three week cruise in November, other than us? Sadly there is very little diversity among our fellow cruisers. Most (I’d say about 80%) are retired, while the number of passengers aged under 30 can be counted on one hand. There are some young people but these are with their parents and I’m guessing that all are under 18. The passengers our age tend to be the ones in the bar or sunbathing on the terrace deck at the ship’s stern. We’ve also heard report...
