Influences on my style and approach to painting have been numerous and continues to evolve. Most notably I would list John Singer Sargent, Joan Miro, Wassily Kandinski, Paul Klee, Nicholas Simmons, Lauren Black, Tom Lynch, Tony Couch, Jim Kosvanec and Ron Ranson for watermedia. As for my spiritually inspired oils, the figures themselves are influenced by Burne Hogarth, as well as the great Renaissance artists.

When I was younger, being an artist meant only that I had the ability to draw on paper what I saw with my eyes or imagined in my mind.
