Jumpin' At The Woodside: June 2012
http://timmayswoodside.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 30, 2012. DMB Virginia 2012 - Part I (#34 Bristow). Our 2012 DMB VA trip - Google was actually spot on for best routes. When I looked at this year's Dave Matthews Band. Tour schedule I thought they have back-to-back shows in Virginia (Bristow and Va. Beach) on June 16-17, which are basically hometown shows for the band. They were also looking at a short break following the Va. Beach show, and young blues guitar slinger Gary Clark Jr. Was opening both shows. I thought this was a must see.

Saturday, May 23, 2015. Summer Mix 2015 (Sunrise - Sunset - Midnight). This year's summer mix. A summer's day from sunrise to sunset to midnight and everything in between. Along with an additional theme that I'll let you figure out for yourself. I broke out the track listing below in chapters by time of day. I responded "Yes" of course and sent myself an email reminder to include that song along with Tom Petty's "American Girl" and "Mother We Just Can't Get Enough" by New Radicals. The transition from "F...

Jumpin' At The Woodside: November 2014
http://timmayswoodside.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 21, 2014. Is part 1 of a two-part Thanksgiving theme that concludes next Friday. Dean Martin’s “You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Loves You” starts things off. The Martin classic always reminds me of Thanksgiving, probably because awhile back I converted some old home movies to video and I inserted this song with images of a long drive through a fall Pennsylvania countryside. This week’s 4th track is U2’s live version of “Where The Streets Have No Name” from their ̶...Is dedicated to the m...

Jumpin' At The Woodside: Summer Mixes - The Beginning
http://timmayswoodside.blogspot.com/2008/05/summer-mixes-beginning.html
Friday, May 30, 2008. Summer Mixes - The Beginning. On the Summer Mix blog made me recall creating my own mix tapes, which goes back to sometime in the early 1980s. Music for me then was typical rock radio stuff of the era – Van Halen, Billy Squier, Journey, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pink Floyd, etc. As a kid, I was a huge KISS fan until they released their disco album, "Dynasty". I had almost every release at that point on 8-Track tape - sad I know. With Round Valley State Park. Suddenly, my musical taste include...
