A Wandering Sojourn: May 2010
http://sojourning-cindy.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Daily Serving Christ in West Africa. Friday, May 28, 2010. I'll be home in just a few weeks. It's hard to believe the year is over, and at the same time it feels like I've been here forever. I'm on a good computer so maybe a few pictures will download after many long weeks of none. My awesome drama cast in all their glory. Hanging out at Mango Camp. Josh sporting the Pastor Dave look for Look-Alike-Day at Spirit Week. Firewood for sale. That is not fog, it's dust. Guess what I bought today!

A Wandering Sojourn: December 2011
http://sojourning-cindy.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Daily Serving Christ in West Africa. Friday, December 30, 2011. A Bit of a Holiday. Christmas Day this year was a bit.adventurous. We went spelunking. Yes, cave exploring. And it served as a bit of a bonding experience between us and bat poop. Hiking with Emily up to the cave. All was well. Here is our cave attack crowd.minus one.he had to take the picture. By the time we got to this point, we were pretty much covered in bat crap. But the cavern at the bottom was definitely worth it. Temps in South Dakota.

A Wandering Sojourn: January 2013
http://sojourning-cindy.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Daily Serving Christ in West Africa. Saturday, January 26, 2013. I Will Never Miss 2012. We all come to that time in the new year when we look back on what was. We're further removed from the events so we can see them for what they were and what they are becoming. The glance back allows us to count what was gained and what was lost. I moved house.still homeless. I moved house again. A play was produced, classes were taught, a yearbook published, exams given and graded. School dismissed. I argued with God.

A Wandering Sojourn: November 2012
http://sojourning-cindy.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Daily Serving Christ in West Africa. Friday, November 2, 2012. It's a bit of a prestige thing to have a large number of rams roasting outside your house. I equate it to the obnoxious house on the block that loves Christmas WAY TOO MUCH and wants everyone to know that. Yup Those are testicles hanging there, just.hanging there. A Wandering Sojourn: Conversations with Grandpa - leaving a legacy
http://sojourning-cindy.blogspot.com/2013/05/conversations-with-grandpa-leaving.html
Daily Serving Christ in West Africa. Wednesday, May 8, 2013. Conversations with Grandpa - leaving a legacy. I've had the privilege of watching a man live his life following this command and lead his family in this way. Had the best conversation with my grandpa recently. Here's what she wrote:. Well, that same cousin informed me today that my grandpa died this morning. Do you want me to go get the car warmed up so I can drive you home? No, I think I can run home.". Oh, you ran here? Oh, are we? Grandma: C...

Hmmmif I pretend to only speak English he may get frustrated and leave me alone. I'll just hand him my drivers license. Ah, you have your permis de conduire." -him. I reach for the paperwork out of the cubby. I don't really know what you need," as I hand him a stack of papers and a bunch of junk he doesn't need. Your English is fantastic! Widen eyes a bit) -me.

A Wandering Sojourn: Whose Story is This?
http://sojourning-cindy.blogspot.com/2013/02/my-story-or-gods-story.html
Daily Serving Christ in West Africa. Thursday, February 21, 2013. Whose Story is This? Peter didn’t quit. If anyone had a reason to quit, he did. How unfit for ministry was he? What if we put Peter in today’s church? A pastor of a large, nationally known church, caught on secret video denying the faith in a small group of people because he was about to be persecuted. We would have a media frenzy! It was just him and some non-believers standing around that fire. No one caught him on video. No disc...Peter...

A Wandering Sojourn: March 2012
http://sojourning-cindy.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Daily Serving Christ in West Africa. Friday, March 23, 2012. Fun Times in Niger. It is Harmatan season. That time of year when it doesn't rain a drop but the wind blows like the dickens and brings all of that lovely Saharan sand down our direction. No big dust storms yet, but the sand is certainly piling up in the streets. Here's a picture of one of our students hanging out in a dry river bed. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A Wandering Sojourn: June 2010
http://sojourning-cindy.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Daily Serving Christ in West Africa. Monday, June 14, 2010. I Confess to the Stolen Pictures. I should have known. I finally get my apartment REALLY clean (I love Ladi) and the next day.Ransackary! This happened about 3pm.but it got so dark in my house that I tripped over a chair. The dust storm usually precedes a thunderstorm. We got a few drops of rain, but by the time it made it to the ground it was just mud. Drops of mud. Yahoo for Angela taking pics with her friends. Check out her blog!
