Thursday, May 24, 2012. Pinspired Hair Accessories Catch All. Charlie loves to accessorize. She is super girly in her wardrobe choices, down to hair bows and jewelry. Tuesday, March 18, 2014. Weston - Three Months. So, Weston is three months old! Wellthree months and three weeks. I'm behind, but the pictures were taken at three months exactly, so there's that. 9 pounds, 2.4 ounces - almost double his birth weight! Keeps amazing eye contact and tracks people around the room. Coos and grins pretty much any time someone gives him undivided attention. Unless, evidently, the camera is out. Prefers to fall asleep in the Ergo than anywhere else - we're working on it.

Tuesday, November 29, 2011. Tomorrow is the day we'd expected to meet our little boy. The Lord had a different plan than we did, and after just 19 weeks of carrying this little life within me, he was taken to a Perfect Life for eternity. How do you spend the day you thought you'd be meeting your child? It will be bitter sweet, enjoying family time, while missing Isaiah on his expected birthday. We miss our little boy every day, and are thankful for God's grace and the knowledge that we will meet one day.

One Year and A1C. It's also been exactly 4 months since I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. It was also 109 degrees today (sans AC and with a fever due to an infection). It hasn't been the best day, but there have been worse days. On a happier note, my A1C is 7% with is very close to normal! My gardens have been growing beautifully and it excites me to no end. Out front we have planted strawberries and lavender in planters and this morning the most exciting thing happened . a strawberry was ready to be picked and eaten. And so we did just that. Ryan and I split the wee little thing and it was very tasty. It makes me so happy that we can grow and eat our own food. The lettuce is getting close to eat-able and the peas are growing superbly. This Turtle now weighs 4 lbs. She started at about 1.8. This garden now has cilantro and unbelievable amounts of dill. And the tomato plants are flowering and huge. Our first signs of broccoli! Look in the center! I never had any idea how broccoli grew until I went out and saw this in my garden.). The peas are going crazy and getting ready to be harvested. And the zucchini plants are giant. My first little carrot. I picked it to see how the carrots were growing annnnnd they are growing well!
