Wednesday, September 19, 2007. On Saturday morning, Phil took a tour of a few of the state government buildings and did a survey of their energy consumption for his job. Friday, October 12, 2007. I found a walking trail down the other side of the mountain that led out into the streets of Devonport. I wound my way through residential streets until I reached Cheltenham Beach. It is a tidal beach and the tide was out, so it was a bit barren. Wednesday, September 26, 2007. Snorkeling in the Rock Islands. For lunch we eschewed the beaches where all the tourists go and Melahi found us a small unoccupied beach. We sat in the shade underneath the broad leaves of trees and the pillowy soft sand and ate our lunches. It was a beautiful spot to rest and dewrinkle from a long morning of snorkeling.
