Tuesday, April 22, 2014. A train sounds its horn. It's desperately close and appropriately loud. I'm at a cafe named "The Depot" alongside a multi-purpose trail within leaping distance and somehow failed to put two-and-two together that the train would soon be passing right in front of me in it's majestic march through downtown Fayetteville, AR. UnderTheRugg: December 2011

http://timrugg.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html

Wednesday, December 14, 2011. I just booked my ticket for a race over three months from now, The Redlands Bicycle Classic. This race marks the beginning of my 2012 campaign. I already feel the pressure to do something big to get my team on board for taking a stab at the entire NRC Calendar. I've got mad Paint skills. Bartlett Lake / Tonto National Forest. Eh, Eh. New Direction for 2012? I look forward to sharing next season with you. Who knows, maybe UnderTheRugg might start a little video series.

UnderTheRugg: November 2013

http://timrugg.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html

Wednesday, November 13, 2013. Signing off for 2013. #CXmyHeart. I know I'm not the most verbose blogger but even I need a break. I have all these plans and ideas and they mostly just sound like garble, or a Chris Horner interview. Gonewell, garble. I'm going to take a couple months UnderTheRugg if you will, and come back in 2014 with something a little more entertaining, or at least distracting. The announcement is HERE. And you can donate HERE. Getting sexy at Pro Tested Gear. Ride safe and stay Rugg.

UnderTheRugg: Cowboy Country

http://timrugg.blogspot.com/2014/03/cowboy-country.html

Sunday, March 9, 2014. The desert is as beautiful as it is intimidating. Yesterday I did my own version of the dirty double with the Hedgehog Hustle Marathon MTB race in the morning and the Old Pueblo Grand Prix in the evening. I can't type much because I think my thumb is broken, which I'm going to check out after this update:. Rule number 1: Don't ever leave the trail. Rule number 2: Don't ride alone in the dark. Especially without lights. If it can get dark, it probably will. After waiting 2 hours in ...

Wednesday, January 18, 2012. Go West Young Man. Washington is not a place to live in. The rents are high, the food is bad, the dust is disgusting and the morals are deplorable. Go West, young man, go West and grow up with the country. Washington, DC rent is too high. I disagree about the food - it's pretty awesome. Who doesn't develop allergies when they move here? Tim Brown's morals are deplorable. Cross-training is over! Good luck in California Brownie. We'll all miss you. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Hold Your Line: A Race Blog: Not-Racing Race Report

http://holdyourlineson.blogspot.com/2011/06/not-racing-race-report.html

Hold Your Line: A Race Blog. The Charge: First Race, First Climb. Friday, June 3, 2011. As I may have mentioned, I have been grounded on the weekend racing front since my epic failure at Poolesville. Well, it now looks like I will make a return to the sport on June 26, at the RGS Title/Prosperity Mortgage Reston Town Center Grand Prix. Radical overestimation by the weather forecasting services of. Bank during this little unscheduled racing interregnum either. These are the questions that vex my soul as I...

An overdue retrospective on the Black Hills Circuit Race, held March 19. I tend to go on in these things.
