Farewell WordPress, Hello Pretzel! | Timothy P. Schreiber

http://timschreiber.com/2015/01/19/farewell-wordpress-hello-pretzel

Farewell WordPress, Hello Pretzel! Farewell WordPress, Hello Pretzel! For the past couple years, I’ve been running this website using WordPress on GoDaddy hosting. But since it’s such a simplistic site, I’ve begun questioning why. Is dealing with the plug-ins and updates really worth the few pages and handful of posts I have up there? Why does theming have to be such a royal pain in the ass? That all changed today. You can find Pretzel here: https:/ github.com/Code52/pretzel. I'm an All Around NIC Guy.

Local/Web Font Conflict in Chrome | Timothy P. Schreiber

Local/Web Font Conflict in Chrome. Local/Web Font Conflict in Chrome. Well, you’re reading this, which means you’re looking at my newer, leaner, better personal site/blog. I spent a couple nights learning Pretzel/Jekyll, putting the layout together, and converting my old WordPress posts. So when everything came together last night, I was excited to push it to GitHub and point my timschreiber.com domain at it. Everything came together sometime around midnight last night. What the hell happened? No, becaus...

Six Day: Day Six-Hotness and the Laziest Bike Racer EVER! I think not, kind of pathetic. I just wanted to get it over with. Next! On the podium in 1st for the day. Congrats to everyone. If you look closely you can see the big loopy bows we wore in our hair. For the past three days we kept adding ribbons, so they were pretty obnoxious by today. Final podium shot. Thanks to all the ladies who came out to make it a great week of racing. See you next year! Six Day: Day Five-Are we done yet? Six Day is here&#...

Slice of Life: Resolution

I am jumping the gun on my New Years resolution, which is to not be a loser of a blogger. Here's my first post to breathe some life back into my blog. While traveling to Utah for Christmas we stopped in Southern Idaho for some backwoods skiing. The snow was great, Lander had fun, and I am pretty certain we were the ONLY tele skiers in the resort. Fun times! View my complete profile. Heather and Uhl Albert. Jordan and Amy Cheng. Ryan and Brittany Birnel. Sandi and Scott Fernandez. Sara and Greg Gillespie.

Finally a sunny spring break day. Lander was really excited to go skiing again so I couldn't resist. Zoolander was the nickname his instructors gave him. Eventually, they shortened it to "Zoo". Kind of cute I think. I skied with his group in the afternoon and it was a total blast! Lander listening intently. Notice the carrot from lunch in his goggle strap? All the kids had them, he eventually ate his on the lift when he got hungry. Lander venturing off the trail, again. Lander gets his first "big air".

Wow, three posts in one day. That is a record for me. I just got back from the track and had to post this. I finally got Bryan to take the track class and he had a great time. I hope to have him racing out there soon. Here's the proof:. Lander wanting another podium shot (with his mom's bike). Could this be a sign of things to come? I suck at taking videos, but this one of Bryan riding high on the track doesn't suck too bad. Seriously, So Funny! Yeah, that was a huge suprise. NEXT! A very pooped puppy!

We picked up a new family member this weekend. He is 7 weeks old and is a black little ball of fuzz, energy and cuteness. Check him out:. Checking out dad and the new digs. He eats a lot. And sleeps a lot. And chews a lot. And sleeps some more. Here's a cute video of him when we got him home and perked up. He likes to stalk his toys before he fetches them. Good boy! L to R: Me, Jen, Heather. So, here are some other random pictures of the last few weeks that I took when it wasn't raining (miracle, I know):.

Use 'j' and 'k' keys. To move up and down. This girl is a talentless pile of shit. A classic example of the abysmally low standards of American audiences. And also, a total disgrace to the fans (like me) of her mothers awesome surf rock band. Ldquo; The Trashwomen. As if hearing their music isn’t bad enough, hearing their name is equally as painful. Just a few of the many I have a problem with:. It’s still fucking rock music, just slowed down. It’s still pop music, just made by hipsters. Smells like tota...
