Shades of Gray.: Car-podding

http://timsorenson.blogspot.com/2009/06/car-podding.html

Monday, June 29, 2009. Setting up a stable tripod in the back of the car has potential. Vehicle ideas are fun, and the possibilities are coming to me. Stay tuned; for now, check this out. It's rough but try to imagine potential. The possibilities are going crazy in my head. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Its been too long. Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, United States. Shades of Gray.: Staying on track...

http://timsorenson.blogspot.com/2009/12/staying-on-track.html

Tuesday, December 8, 2009. Just wrapped up a website for a friend. We put together some sweet ideas, and his artwork is amazing. Here's the layout I came up with:. We did a shoot for the 'My Story' page, we're just getting it all put together. This artwork is a whole different form of artwork that has purpose and medicinal purpose. Check soon for the website to be finished. I'll post a link when it's all done. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, United States.

Shades of Gray.: Playing with flashes.

http://timsorenson.blogspot.com/2009/07/playing-with-flashes.html

Wednesday, July 1, 2009. Thanks Glenn and Nik for letting me borrow your flashes. Had some fun with them and added some good stuff to the photo project portfolio. Realized tonight that I really haven't shot my car with any sort of creative photographic intention. Tonight I did. Results from the real intention of tonight's flash shoot coming soon. Thanks for reading, and stay tuned. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Day of Independence (and Day 7). Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, United States.

Shades of Gray.: Rough week.

http://timsorenson.blogspot.com/2009/06/rough-week.html

Friday, June 26, 2009. Last weekend I headed over to Seattle to see my dad for Father's Day. First solo trip in a while, and although different, I kinda liked it; I had a lot of thinking time to myself. Recently I came across an app for iPhone called DSLR Remote. Much like iPhone's Remote app for iTunes, the DSLR Remote is a wireless shutter button. Check out their website. We're heading to his memorial service now. We will miss you dearly Hunter. Prayers and tears today. Its been too long.

Jakewood: June 2010

http://jakedonahue.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html

Monday, June 28, 2010. His toast could be featured in a movie, and I feel so honored to have listened to him talk about me. I’ve never laughed so hard in my life. But, like I said, I can’t find any video. If anybody has one, please let me know! That being said, while I did simply use the text below as an outline for my toast to those involved in the wedding, I’d say roughly 85-percent of the speech is here:. You’re making this joyous occasion a truly remarkable event. Now, these guys (groomsmen). Tha...

Jakewood: April 2010

http://jakedonahue.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html

Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Tonight Holly had her friend Kathy come over to help sew things for the wedding. Thus, I boogied outside and shot some more photos. Let’s just say the other day got me all excited to get out as much as I can nowadays, especially with the killer sunsets we’ve been having. Here’s how I killed a few hours tonight down at the Sunset Transit Station where the Max Rail drives by:. Posted by Jake Donahue. Links to this post. Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Jakewood: May 2010

http://jakedonahue.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html

Friday, May 21, 2010. A friend of mine from high school is now the membership director at the Portland Golf Club. They needed photos for marketing materials, so of course a photos-for-golf trade was all I needed! The lighting wasn’t perfect, but we still had fun. If anything, we scouted spots for next time. HDR brought out some locations better than others:. Posted by Jake Donahue. Links to this post. Thursday, May 20, 2010. So, while I essentially did the project for free, it was SO WORTH IT! Jakewood: My camera’s 10,000th image

http://jakedonahue.blogspot.com/2010/07/my-cameras-10000th-image.html

Tuesday, July 6, 2010. My camera’s 10,000th image. Holy Sanata Clause Shit. After 21 months of playing with my 2008 birthday present (the Canon S5 IS. That Holly so lovingly bestowed upon me a few weeks before my actual birthday almost two years ago), I finally shot image No. 10,000. And be it ever so fitting, it occurred during our honeymoon in Maui. Here is IMG 0000 (after IMG 9999, it reverts back to zero):. Well, Maui couldn’t have painted a better sunset picture! Since Oct. 26, 2008, when Holly ...

Jakewood: Counterintuitive, maybe?

http://jakedonahue.blogspot.com/2010/03/counterintuitive-maybe.html

Tuesday, March 16, 2010. Thanks to my good friend Heidi. Still not sure how to even use Buzz, but I seem to get notifications from everybody else), I noticed this retarded little goody: Solar-powered cell phone covers. Like the author of their article even says:. I have no idea if the environmental cost of making these things cancels out the benefits.". My point, exactly! There is no way they've been churning these things out sans a huge electricty-guzzling factory. Wait, it's an iPhone? Words to Live by.

Jakewood: Selling Out

Thursday, September 16, 2010. You see, after. Of bashing the iPhone (I did so publicly here. I’ve finally succumbed the greatness that is Apple:. I got an iPhone. Now, I’ve never hated on Apple products. After all, Mac computers are the industry standard in journalism, graphic design and all things multimedia. What’s more, I’ve even praised the iPhone as a standalone device in the past (see here. We saw the actual iPhone 4 in action at my brother’s. It was time to switch. And switch, we did. Jakewood: Goodbye Baseball, Hello Cooperstown

http://jakedonahue.blogspot.com/2010/07/goodbye-baseball-hello-cooperstown.html

Monday, July 12, 2010. Goodbye Baseball, Hello Cooperstown. Thank you, Nike! Here is the latest commercial from Phil Knight and Co. emblazing the great Ken Griffey Jr. for all to see! I saw this for the first time tonight during the MLB Homerun Derby. What a fitting commercial during an event that Griffey so often dominated. Thanks again, Nike, for this awesome commercial! Posted by Jake Donahue. So nice to see decent role models do well. Thanks for sharing! July 13, 2010 at 3:45 PM. Promote Your Page Too.
