Who knew... the artist within.: KEEP TRACK OF YOUR RACK
http://artistwithin09.blogspot.com/2011/09/keep-track-of-your-rack.html
Who knew. the artist within. Friday, September 23, 2011. KEEP TRACK OF YOUR RACK. Just a quick note today. It's been a weird couple of days. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer on March 31st, yes the day before April Fools day. She actually called people to tell them her diagnosis on April Fools day. That wasn't supposed to happen. But, it's a better safe than sorry kind of thing. I've been tossing this idea around since she was first diagnosed and I finally got it done. KEEP TRACK OF YOUR RACK.

Will Race for Carbs: August 2012
http://katieaschmidt.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Will Race for Carbs. Full time mom and part time runner, cyclist, and "swimmer.". Tuesday, August 28, 2012. An overdue and unsolicited shoe review of Hoka One Ones. Lately, there has been an influx of new shoes and shoe types to choose from. Instead of making it easier to find a shoe, I think it has made that shopping trip even trickier. What shoe do you get? Brand, heel to toe ratio, padding, barefoot, neutral, natural, stabilizing, etc, etc, etc? So why switch shoes? Well, Newtons are not cheap. I ...

Will Race for Carbs: June 2011
http://katieaschmidt.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Will Race for Carbs. Full time mom and part time runner, cyclist, and "swimmer.". Wednesday, June 29, 2011. The Gift of Mediocrity. I recently read something that changed my perspective on my below average athletic ability. (I know this is the second post in a row inspired by another blogger. What can I say, I am easily influenced? I follow a blog called Run Faster Mommy. And her most recent post. Any race where I might have to "stop, drop, and roll" is out! You see, I am mediocre (at best) at almost eve...

Will Race for Carbs: Tri for the Cure 2012
http://katieaschmidt.blogspot.com/2012/08/tri-for-cure-2012.html
Will Race for Carbs. Full time mom and part time runner, cyclist, and "swimmer.". Monday, August 13, 2012. Tri for the Cure 2012. My absence really had to do with a great lack of time. I was spending way too much time on the computer and way too little time on things that were less fun, but more important. Even my children were beginning to think I was spending too much time on the computer. Here is a family portrait my son drew. See what I mean? Here are the highlights in no particular order. They are a...

http://katieaschmidt.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Will Race for Carbs. Full time mom and part time runner, cyclist, and "swimmer.". Friday, December 23, 2011. I'm stuck in Wi-Fi hell. This is just a quick note to say I have been dealing with very limited internet connectivity at my brother's house. Apparently his poor router can't handle all the devices trying to hook into it. Sooooo, I haven't been able to read very many blogs and I do apologize if I have been ignoring you! I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas! Katie @ Will Race for Carbs. Thing t...

Will Race for Carbs: February 2012
http://katieaschmidt.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Will Race for Carbs. Full time mom and part time runner, cyclist, and "swimmer.". Thursday, February 23, 2012. I wasn't expecting 6 inches. Public Enemy number one in my opinion. Anyway, our doors didn't blow off but this was the scene in our backyard this morning. As you can see we have a tree down and a fence to repair.and more snow to scoop! Our neighbors also lost one of their pine trees (at the top of the picture). Have you ever tried to put eye drops in a kid before? Or even better some of this:.

Will Race for Carbs: March 2012
http://katieaschmidt.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Will Race for Carbs. Full time mom and part time runner, cyclist, and "swimmer.". Friday, March 16, 2012. Cold vs. Flu. I usually don't get the flu. In fact I can't really remember the last time I got it. Why? Every year I get my flu shot like a good girl and escape the season unscathed. But somehow this year I forgot to get my flu shot. Worse than that, I forgot to get my kids flu shots! And I forgot to harass my husband to get his flu shot! Wednesday our grace period ended. BAM! Um, are you kidding me?

The Bitchy Runners: December 2011
http://thebitchyrunners.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
2011 Races and Reviews. Saturday, December 31, 2011. It's the last day of 2011. Oh what a year it has been! No recap yet though. My Blogiversary is on January 9. I plan on doing a three day recap leading up to that date. I know you just peed your pants with anticipation. Wednesday night we had a fun adult's night out for Mediterranean food and copious amounts of wine. Randee got her test results several weeks ago. Quite the list don't you think? After 90 days, we will reintroduce the foods I showed an al...

Jesse Coulter: Our Debt Free Story
http://www.jessecoulter.net/2014/12/our-debt-free-story.html
Our Debt Free Story. But we used his principles. We saved, thrifted, and made sacrifices to throw as much money as possible towards our student loans. I used to be a spender.a big spender. This process has taught me so much about self discipline, and I do love a good challenge. It was hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but we learned it's a slow and steady race. We did try to reward ourselves every once in a while, made a few splurges and went on a few trips. Bought our first home. It finall...
