Oban to Inverness June 2015. Another long ride, going coast to coast in Scotland from Oban to Inverness, via Dornoch. Oban to Inverness June 2015. Plan was to take train from Dornoch to Dingwall and cycle from there to Inverness. Arrived in Dornoch this evening. Heading for Dornoch on the longest leg. All is going well. No signal yesterday, so unable to report then. It's very wet up here in Scotland. Today (Saturday) is our longest leg, from Whitebridge to Dornoch via Inverness. We're about to get our first view of Loch Ness. On the train to Scotland. And we are off!

Coast to Coast: 14-17 September 2012. In 2011] I cycled 233 miles from Newcastle to Edinburgh, together with a bunch of other crazy women. Some are friends from school, some I had not even meet previously. We were in it for fun, fitness, and fundraising. I published an online account of that, which you can read in the Archive. As well as the personal challenge, I'm using this as an opportunity to raise funds for the Berkshire MS Therapy Centre. (See the Sponsorship page.

Coast to Coast: 27-30 June 2014. Once again I am joining my friends for a long cycle ride this year. In 2011 we went from Newcastle to Edinburgh. In 2012 we went coast to coast from Carlisle to Newcastle. This year's route takes us from Morecambe. On the west coast to Bridlington. The route we are taking is based on the " "Way of the Roses". And covers about 165 miles over four days. The last day is the longest leg, but not necessarily the hardest, as the others involve a lot more hills.
