Jezioro Dreństwo zajmuje powierzchnie około 527 ha. Maksymalna głebokość jeziora wynosi 25 m. W części podłużnej dość często występuja górki, na których skutecznie można połapać okonia i szczupaka. Przez jezioro przepływa rzeka Jegrznia. Gatunki ryb, które tu występują to: szczupak, sieja, leszcz, płoć, sielawa, węgorz, krąp, okoń, karaś, lin, okleja, wzdręga.

Okoliczne lasy są bardzo grzybne i obfite w zwierzynę. Praktycznie już w miejscowości Kuliki (około 6-7 km od Woźnawsi) zaczyna się Biebrzański Park Narodowy, a w nim rezerwat Czerwone Bagno (Łosi). Niektóre występujace tu gatunki zwierząt: jeż, wiewiórka, zając, lis, dzik, łoś, sarna, jeleń, wilk, bocian biały, bocian czarnny, zaskroniec, żmija zygzakowata.
