Monday, September 26, 2011. Bacon and Eggs Breakfast Casserole. All week long I had been wanting a lazy weekend, but I knew it wasn't going to happen. Saturday morning a guy was coming to cut a tree that was half uprooted during a recent storm. Then Saturday evening company was coming over for dinner.On Friday night our dinner plans got cancelled. So when I discovered a cheese you could fry without all the hassle of breading and deep frying. I'm there! This is a perfect weekend snack. Okay.It's good any day of the week. I bought some Mexican frying cheese, it's called Queso De Freier. Just slice it in finger size slices. I did brush a little oil in the pan just to make sure it didn't stick. Hope you enjoy it! Baked Gnocchi with Tomato and Spinach. 1 package gnocchi (500g). 1 teaspoon herbs (you can use Italian I use Penzey's Parisien Bonnes Herbes. 1 teaspoon smoked paprika. 2 chopped garlic cloves (or garlic seasoning). 3 tablespoons grated cotija (or Parmesan). 1 tablespoons tomato paste or 2 T tomato sauce if that is what you have. 3 or 4 tablespoons cream/yogurt. Saturday, March 7, 2015. 1/4 cup oil ( I used rice bran oil, but you can use olive oil). 3 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce ( I checked many labels). 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar (I used white balsamic). 2 teaspoons herb de provence. 1 teaspoon your favorite grill seasoning.
