Monday, August 18, 2014. Jack's "half" birthday was on the 14th. We have come a long way in the last 6 months. We can't believe how fast he has grown or how much! It's no surprise to any of you that the beginning was stressful and rough.rougher than I ever imagined it could be. But thankfully with a lot of time, trial and error with feeding options, and some other assistance, we've made it and are completely in love with our son. I do know he is roughly 28 inches long and 18.5 pounds! Drooling everywhere...

Saturday, March 1, 2014. Grandma L found Mark's baby blanket. We made sure to bring for a few shots. It's always special with items like that! Sad but cute all at the same time. Now that Jack is beyond a year old, I feel silly posting blog updates, but since we don't really have much of an exciting life, Jack is pretty much the sole reason for the blog. Let me back up. I guess there are some updates to know. As for Jack. He is growing and learning so much. Here are some fun facts:. Signs Dad, water, more, please, dog, and baby (though it doesn't mean baby.we don't know what he means by this one. We haven't figured it out yet). Does not like cheese or bread.

Monday, June 2, 2014. This is how the zoo started off for us. Thankfully we woke up! Cousin Gavin offered to take a picture. Pretty good for a 9 year old! First time being front facing in the carrier. Such a big boy now! I sure love these people! Hey Mom, can I take a selfie? Mom photobombing. =). Wednesday, November 12, 2014. Jack is 9 months old! Jack turns 9 months on Friday and since we'll be on the road to Vegas and posting fun pictures, I figure I'd give you something for now and then you can ignore all my other photos. :). We are so in love with this big kid! His Drs appointment is next week but I suspect he will continue to be at the higher end of the charts for weight and height. Here are some fun things Jack can do:. Recognizes and turns when you call his name (when he feels like it).

Monday, April 20, 2015. We bought a house that had been previously repo-ed. In 9 months of ownership, we've learned that there are some serious benefits and risks to that. One of them being the yard we inherited. It was no secret either. When we first looked at the house, this is the view we had (from that ugly freestanding balcony we replaced). And more sticks. Friday, July 25, 2014. A VERY Late 4th of July. We had a fairly calm 4th of July. We spent the morning going through our new house for the first time and doing some initial cleaning. Then we cleaned up and headed up to my sister's house for a barbecue with my parents, grandparents who were in town, and two sisters and their families.
