Cooking in 54 sq ft. Sunday Sauce with Giant Meatballs. The sauce can be varied to your taste, I happen to love a lot of garlic, and for an even easier all-day-long preparation, you can make this meal in the slow cooker. 1 can whole peeled Italian tomatoes (28 oz.). 1 can crushed Italian tomatoes (28 oz.). 1 whole bulb garlic. 1 cup good red wine. 1 tbsp red pepper flakes (this will give your sauce just enough kick). Olive oil, salt and pepper. 15 lbs meatball mix (equal parts beef, pork, and veal).

The practice cake helped when it came to doing the face. I quickly found out that forming the face out of cake was not easy and since the fondant was so heavy it was distorting what I build. So I quickly moved to Plan B. Rice Crispies! This was 1 1/2 have batches of rice crispy treats). I needed to make it look li...

A foodie diary of guilty pleasures, recipes, and personal life experiences with food and family. Buon Appetito! Did someone say Pancakes? Morning, noon or night, one cannot disagree with the fact that pancakes make the ultimate home cooked meal. An amateur's observations on cooking and eating in and around Los Angeles. Thursday, August 9, 2012. That old taste for tea has returned. When I was nine years old I decided that I would most likely turn out a coffee person. This caused much consternation from my grandmother, especially when I asked for a second cup at the farmhouse table in Ohio. She would warn me that it would likely stunt my growth, ignoring the fact that at that time I was probably two feet taller than my peers. For a Mexican sauce.
