As the rainy season seems to have started I have started fishing on the Ystwyth again. The river is fishing well for the brown trout, mainly tiddlers and there seems to be an abundance of eels. I'm sure to hook a sea trout soon so keep watching this space.

Went fishing last night with Martin "Shagnasty" who recently caught a 5Lb Seatrout on the Rheidol. We saw some good fish moving and splashing around in various up-river regions from Trawsgoed up. Unfortunately we were unable to catch anything other than browns and eels. It was exciting to watch though.
