I know that dehydrating keeps food shelf stable longer so I thought hey. win win! Once the trays were full I turned on my dehydrator and let it run for about 9 hours. I thought. well I have lots of jars and 1 box of yellow cake mix lets give this a whirl! Note I filled each jar 1/3 of the way full with mix and the cakes each rose to different heights. interesting.
