Friday, September 2, 2011. I went on the trip to the czech not knowing exactly why i was going,. I just knew i had to go. The experience ending up making me feel more alive than i've felt in a while. Originally, i was scared that in saying yes to an experience overseas that i'd be saying no to finding enjoyment in my ordinary daily life in south pasadena. i'm the girl who photographs daily life. there was this part of me that feared getting out of the safe zone of my daily and into something new. Praying for a Princess: Jackpot!
http://prayingforaprincess.blogspot.com/2010/11/jackpot.html
Praying for a Princess. Our journey of faith to find our cinderella. Sunday, November 14, 2010. This weekend started just like any other. But as of 1pm today our lives have been changed forever. I leaned over to Jenn and said "Um, I think God is calling us to adopt from Las Vegas too! Months without a date night and you want melted cheese? I'll go to my grave believing that my willingness to speak her love language and stomach fondue is the cause of what happened next. As we sat and stared into the bowl ...

Who I’ve become. The Translations of Our Insides. Bloody Time →. April 23, 2011 · 2:36 am. It’s been awhile since I’ve visited here. Long enough for a silly little car wreck, a trip to California, and a new plan of (attempted) re-locating to take place. Life sure has a funny way of getting our attention. I’m so close to being without…yet, still overwhelmed with the amount of stuff I have. A strange contradiction. I’m sort of ignoring things and am happier than I’ve been in a long time! I hope that I will...

Thursday, March 31, 2011. While it still may be chilly here in Pittsburgh, I cannot help but dream of sunny days at the beach or by the pool. Every summer I use to check out beach towels trying to find the perfect one. this summer, I think something fun and classy is a must! Wouldn't one of these Chance towels. I think I'd have to go for the "reserved" one. it would make me feel very important. Wouldn't one of these Chance towels. Wednesday, March 30, 2011. I had to stop and smile. Photos by bruce weber.

calico: easy headband tutorial.
http://cally-cruze.blogspot.com/2010/02/easy-headband-tutorial.html
I made some headbands for {cousin} Emma's birthday a couple weeks ago and they turned out so great I wanted to share. I bought the cheap ones for $1.99 a pack,. Don't hurt behind the ears. Cut off the woven covers. So if your headband is 13" x 1/4". You'd cut your fabric 15" x 1 1/4". Don't judge my manicure. Just a couple straight stitches back and forth will do. I will show you the ruffle in a second}. Here's how you do the ruffle:. I made the bow by sewing the strip for the headband. So quick and easy.
