Sunday, November 13, 2011. Through Thick and Thin. These past two weeks have been the hardest two weeks of my entire life. My Grandmom suffered a massive stroke and had many complications until Wednesday when she finally went home to be with the Lord. My advice to all incoming college students is make sure you find yourself a close group of friends. When I arrived back on campus and walked into my hall I discovered that everyone else had the same idea and had brought decorations back with them because our building is having a decorating contest. We all worked together and had a blast decorating and listening to some fabulous Christmas music. Our hall looks amazing! Sunday, November 20, 2011. Since my Grandmom passed away last week I had to miss several classes so that I could go home for the funeral. I was nervous about having to miss classes, but I knew it was something I had to do. Prior to the meeting times of all the classes that I had to miss I emailed my professors so that they would know in advance that I would not be in class.
