The Vaikunta Yekadarsi function took place in the temple on 28.12.2009 in a very grand manner, thousands of devotees visited the temple on the day to enter the Swargavasal. The Swargavasal was opened at about 5.00am in the early morning,there were thousands of devotees present in the temple to witness the event.The Urchavar with Shri Thayar, Shri Andal and Shri Namalwar were brought through the Swargawasal first and then followed by the rest of them.
