Titchystitches

Wednesday, 15 February 2012. Ok, I'm really not very good about this whole blogging thing but I'm trying.I'm REALLY trying. Anyway, remember my goals. Number one was, "Make at least one thing for each holiday (Valentine's day, Easter, Independence Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas)." Well, guess what? I didn't make anything for Valentines day. UGH! I wanted to make this scarf. Or a decoration made of these awesome hearts. Or even some simple heart garland. I bought a card. I'm so ashamed! http://titchystitches.blogspot.com/2012/01/2012.html

Tuesday, 3 January 2012. This Year I want to. I'm feeling better today so I thought I'd share my goals for 2012.well, at least my crafting goals. 1 Make at least one thing for each holiday (Valentine's day, Easter, Independence Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas). 2 Make a weather/day of the week chart for the kiddo. 3 Sew something once a month (can't let that sewing machine collect dust! 4 Crochet a blanket for the kiddo's future 'big boy' bed. 6 Learn a new craft. 7 Make a hook case. Titchystitches: December 2011

http://titchystitches.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html

Friday, 16 December 2011. Where has the time gone? I'm sorry that I've been gone from this little space for so long but I can explain. Sort of. You see, I lost my crafty mojo. I worked hard on my friend's doll and then all my desire to create just fizzled out. Yep. Just before Christmas too. Needless to say, only one person is getting a handmade gift from me this year and I think she'll be getting it late. Whoops. That's not what I had planned! BUT, I'm going to fix this for next year! I will be prepared!

Titchystitches: November 2011

http://titchystitches.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html

Wednesday, 9 November 2011. I can't believe I've waited four whole days to share this, but here is the little doll. I made for my friend Lydia. Is modeled after Lydia's night elf druid on World of Warcraft. She's an avid pet. Collector in the game so, of course, I had to make an amigurumi hyacinth macaw. As well. (Luckily, Lydia recognized both dolls as what I meant them to be - thank you, facial markings! Baby) Amyrlin was made using a Bit of Whimsy. Pattern and I used Lion Brand's parrot.

We stay up late. What’s up with this blog? If I had a cool website. A costume only a 3 year old could think up. October 30, 2011. Who hasn’t been seen made revamped recycled or whatever any type of Harry Potter costume for fans of all ages. The movies are too scary so we’ve never let him watch any. The books are too long and I’ve never gotten around to reading him any. What we do have is this:. Does anyone else feel like Halloween is a nightmare for costume making? And we can’t forget Hedwig! That is com...

But only to make me a better parent. I never drank coffee before I had kids. At least not in a “Fresh Pots! Sort of way. We didn’t even own a coffee maker. Back in those days, I looked down upon anyone who. Just stop drinking that shit and then you won’t need it. Then I had two kids. Kids wake-up too fucking early. Don&#8...

titchytetchyteacher | 4 out of 5 dentists recommend this WordPress.com site

4 out of 5 dentists recommend this WordPress.com site. I really can’t believe that it’s nearly a yer since I last posted. It’s not because I’m no longer titchy (at my age growth upwards would be truly astounding), and certainly I’ve been as tetchy as ever (ask my students, if you don’t believe me), but mostly because I am a teacher. What do I ask them? What’s it like here? Why has it improved? What could still be done to make it better? What do you like about this place? What don’t you like? When leaving...

Titchy Toes

Little things I wish I had known earlier. Tuesday, 15 April 2014. For the last few months I have been almost entirely away from the hustle and bustle of London. Being in Wales has given me that extra bit of time to reflect on the changes of the last year and a half. In November 2012 my little 'Titch' was born and things have since changed more than I could ever imagine. It has been a steep and valuable learning curve for me and I'm fully aware that I am only at the beginning of this journey!
