Monday, August 16, 2010. I saw some odd things last weekend on my jaunt down south. At The Shed in Ocean Springs, we saw these wind chimes.made from pork ribs. Weird. But cool. At Flounders in Pensacola Beach, this sign was hanging over the entrance. I guess they wanted to make sure no customers left that couldn't find a spot right in front! It seemed easy enough for a first project, so I bought all the fabric on Black Friday and began the quilt after Christmas. You need 1 yard each of 8 differnt flannel fabrics. Sunday, January 13, 2013. Yum, Sunday Dinner! It's Sunday. Guess it's time for Sunday dinner. I was in the mood for pot roast. Who isn't? I decided to check the internet for a new recipe, and I came across my new favorite, the Pioneer Woman! She really does have some great recipes, and most of them are pretty easy to follow. Here's her recipe here. I made a few small changes. Nothing too drastic. I trimmed the ends and peeled 6 carrots. Once the onions were nicely browned, I did the same with the carrots.
