Trinkets and Baubles: Tiny Grey Teapot, 4"x4", Oil on Wood
http://trinketsandbaubles.blogspot.com/2011/09/tiny-grey-teapot-4x4-oil-on-wood.html
Sunday, September 11, 2011. Tiny Grey Teapot, 4"x4", Oil on Wood. Another in my daily painting series. This little teapot was given to me by my mom. I have a small obsession with teapots, and a larger obsession with small, cute objects, so this killed two birds with one stone. I am trying to paint more loosely, more freely, and to let the painting process feel more joyful and less pain-staking. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Gary Rawson - Amazing Husband and Artist. Trinkets and Baubles: About Me
http://trinketsandbaubles.blogspot.com/p/about-me.html
I never knew I would be a painter. After going to school for theatre, I moved to New York City to pursue acting. In the meantime, I began figure modeling for various artists throughout the city. The more I modeled, the more my interest in visual art grew. Two years after I first modeled there, in 2006 I ended up on the other side of the easel as a student, taking my first "real" art class. I have never looked back. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Gary Rawson - Amazing Husband and Artist. My Mom's Etsy Shop.

Trinkets and Baubles: Chompers, 4"x4", oil on board
http://trinketsandbaubles.blogspot.com/2011/09/chompers-4x4-oil-on-board.html
Wednesday, September 14, 2011. Chompers, 4"x4", oil on board. This is what I spent my day painting on September 11th. I didn't choose it to be intentionally morbid, or anything like that, it just happened to work out that way. These aren't actual false teeth, but a soap set that was given to me as a gift. I can't bear to use them as soap, so I decided to paint them instead! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
