I was wondering if the build in distance encoder, which allows the distance measurement even with non (D) lenses also in the manual focus mode, would be used for ADI flash for non (D) lenses. The other possibility would have been that the camera switches to preFlash TTL in the case of a non (D) lens. Twice the distance (B).

Nice machine but it had one drawback. The processes did not all fit to my needs and could not be modified. I did not want to resell it or upgrade to an ATL-1500. Therefore I looked into a possibility to modify the times to my needs. And it was possible by altering the build in program memory. EPROM desired process times.

Scanning of B&W negatives with Silverfast and Epson 2450. When I scanned B&W negatives with silverfast (initially V5.5) than I got no differentiation between levels for the highlights. The diagrams here show the relation between negative density and the K value in the preview of silverfast. The different gamma values are set in the option menu of SF. The three different curves are for the different exposure settings in the SF negative dialog (Min, Mid, Max). Now the shadows become badly seperated.
