T and A : More to come
http://tkblaich.blogspot.com/2006/02/more-to-come.html
Get your mind out of the gutter. Wednesday, February 08, 2006. All good things come to an end. I didn't know it would be quite this abrupt over here at T and A, but that's life in the fast lane. Most of you remember back in December. In the interim, I have been training for a marathon. Writing a screenplay, trying to improve my life by reading self-help books (gag. I know), working through my 101 in 1001 list. Felt more like a T and A post. Things were getting fuzzy, because Why we Lie. More T and A, but...

No way Bushies, he's a long way from praise-worthy in my book. No, hurray for inaugaration day because it's my little sister's birthday! I can't believe you're 29. I couldn't possibly be a day over 25, so I'm not sure how you could be 29. Thank you for being such a good sister all these 29. Long years. Let's review:. 8) You never lau...

Tales from Suburbia: September 2004
http://famfam.blogspot.com/2004_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 27, 2004. I know I should be a little freaked by the idea that Mount St. Helens is possibly getting ready to erupt. What if St. Helens goes and sets off a chain reaction and Rainier blows up too and then we have like a month of ash days and no one has to go to work. OK, well maybe that would be really messy and I bet all that ash would wreak havoc on the Roomba. I guess what I really want is to see a volcano erupt and then have a month's vacation. Posted by TB at 8:18 PM. I've had a nag...

Tales from Suburbia: March 2005
http://famfam.blogspot.com/2005_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 13, 2005. Maybe I'm a snob. Or just picky or something, but you know what really irritates me? Books that have been made into a movie which are then re-released with a giant movie picture on the cover. I was doing some of my birthday shopping today (mom gave me a very nice Amazon certificate) and wanted to buy Wonderboys. You don't even have to think about it! This is what the main character looks like! Right here on the cover! Posted by TB at 8:20 AM. Monday, March 07, 2005. Of course, tha...

Tales from Suburbia: June 2004
http://famfam.blogspot.com/2004_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 19, 2004. The bad part of home ownership. The plumber is here. And the first half an hour he's here he gets $146. Then every 15 minutes after that he gets another $33. Wow. He makes more in 15 minutes than I make in an hour. And now we can't just bill it to the landlord. Andre tried to install the line to the icemaker last night. And the pipe under the sink sprung a leak. No problem, right? The water isn't stopping! The water is shooting across the kitchen! The water is everywhere! Andre j...

Tales from Suburbia: May 2004
http://famfam.blogspot.com/2004_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 31, 2004. Posted by TB at 7:59 AM. Andre told me the other day that we had to put off having a second child so that he would have time to fill the house with gadgets. He's off to a good start with the new touch-screen thermostat complete with two remote controls. He did turn down my suggestion to change the doorbell music to play Darth Vader's Theme, however. Who's the big geek now? I'm happy for them, but we'll miss them. Posted by TB at 7:32 AM. Saturday, May 22, 2004. We have too much stuff.

Tales from Suburbia: July 2004
http://famfam.blogspot.com/2004_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 31, 2004. We're trying to leave the 60's behind us. It's a difficult transition and we still have many yards of gorgeous paisley curtains to go, but we are the proud new owners of non-tacky kitchen lighting! Yes, it's a wonderful day. Someday we may even get rid of the yellow crackle glass globes on all the hall lighting. Posted by TB at 3:57 PM. Friday, July 30, 2004. Commenting and trackback have been added to this blog. But why oh why did you make your season premiere last until 11:00 last night? People who are unable to read the word "diesel"? Posted by TB at 8:05 PM. Monday, November 15, 2004. Fiona, in other news, has fully reclaimed the throne for whiniest child alive. I don't know what to do with her sometimes. She can't just ask for something, she starts screa...I wen...
