Southern Cheesehead...: The Things You Learn From 'Sofia the First'...
http://southerncheesehead.blogspot.com/2013/12/the-things-you-learn-from-sofia-first.html
Pastor's wife and mom who knows football, watches SportsCenter and tries to make a difference along the way. Friday, December 13, 2013. The Things You Learn From Sofia the First. Sorry, but that's the way she says it and I think it's adorable). She has a Sleeping Beauty princess dress so she wanted me to pay attention to Princess Aurora who helped Sofia find her daddy. Don't we all have enough gifts? Or just enough period? In a few hours, my family will gather in the van to go to the church I grew up.

Voice of Adventure: Followed by Honor...
http://voiceofadventure.blogspot.com/2009/04/followed-by-honor.html
Wednesday, April 1, 2009. April 5, 2009 at 11:30 AM. It's really great to hear how God is blessing you! God's plans are wonderful and lifechanging as they unfold. I am encouraged by your willingness to seek to be a blessing as well. As a child is rescued through adoption, the parallel with our salvation experience is obvious and God's name is lifted up and He is glorified! I believe that God will bless you immensely as you seek to bless. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). David, Abigail, Julie and Honor.

Southern Cheesehead...: Words...
http://southerncheesehead.blogspot.com/2014/01/words.html
Pastor's wife and mom who knows football, watches SportsCenter and tries to make a difference along the way. Sunday, January 05, 2014. Words are important. I hope that we all know that by now! I'm a talker. I can talk to anyone. I can talk to myself, the dog.no one even. My prayer for this year is that my words be few. This will clearly be difficult for me because I talk too much. I want to listen more.not just to others, but more importantly.to the Lord. Freedom from "scheduling" God.freedom to be l...

the last one…for a while | Missional Renaissance
https://paparon.wordpress.com/2014/03/18/the-last-one-for-a-while
An online journal of thoughts on the missional community. The last one…for a while. I’m going to take a break from this blog for a while. Call it a haitus, a sabbatical, an interlude, whatever. Many of you have been loyal readers for years and I appreciate your readership and the positive affirmations you give via e-mails, comments on the blog or encouraging words when I see you in person. I’ll miss writing the blog and connecting with all of you in that way. Why stop now, you ask? Speaking of that organ...

in community | Missional Renaissance
https://paparon.wordpress.com/70-2
An online journal of thoughts on the missional community. Let’s think of a faith community. Typically such communities are called churches but the word “church” carries baggage for a lot of people so let’s just stick to “faith community.”. This is a strong community but not in a healthy way. Unhealthy communities allow bullying, addiction, condescending, co-dependency, manipulation and other toxic behaviors. Healthy communities do not allow a person to keep going in the same bad direction and rem...If yo...

how can a huge plane go missing? | Missional Renaissance
https://paparon.wordpress.com/2014/03/12/how-can-a-huge-plane-go-missing
An online journal of thoughts on the missional community. How can a huge plane go missing? As I write this blog post, the Malaysian airliner carrying 239 passengers has not been found. It went missing from the skies four days ago. There isn’t even any certainty about which direction the aircraft was headed when it suddenly disappeared. Imagine the fear and anxiety that family members of the passengers have been feeling the last four days. When was it last seen? In which direction was it headed? Date : 32...

where do you find inspiration? part II | Missional Renaissance
https://paparon.wordpress.com/2014/03/16/where-do-you-find-inspiration-part-ii
An online journal of thoughts on the missional community. Where do you find inspiration? How are we inspired to do good? What motivates us to feed the hungry, clothe the unclothed, visit the sick and imprisoned and do all the good things this world so desperately needs? Is it true that, by nature, we are selfish and self-serving? So, what is the motivator for giving up self for the better good? Doesn’t there have to be something from within that stirs us to such action? Jesus said that the greatest comma...

Pastor's wife and mom who knows football, watches SportsCenter and tries to make a difference along the way. Sunday, January 19, 2014. An Open Letter to a Chinese Birth Mother (on sanctity of life Sunday). I know we have never met, but I feel like I know you. I have prayed for you more times than I could count without knowing your name or what you look like. I imagine that you are beautiful because my daughter is. The Willis family (Ernie, Michele, Jackson, Carson and Madison Jade). I love my Lord and Sa...
