Sometimes you're in the check out line at the grocery store and you think you need a pack of gum more than anything in the whole wide world. And then, you ask your mom to get it for you and she says the dreaded N-O. Even though you ask her ten times so she will know how truly important it is to you. she won't budge. She does NOT get you AT ALL. And then your mom takes this picture and it only makes everything exponentially worse.

Tales from the Thompson Clan! Tuesday, March 24, 2015. As Owen began preschool in the fall, he had brand new motivation for speaking clearly so that his friends and classmates could understand him! His teacher, Connie, was also a wonderful "therapist" as well, listening to the articulation skills we were working on so that she could reinforce them at school. We're so grateful for the journey! WELCOME, ENJOY THE GOOD TIMES! Friday, November 02, 2012. Grampie and Gramie came to visit over Jace's birthday. We had a wonderful family celebration full of games, weenie roast, presents and ice cream sundaes! Everyone had a great time! Here the kids are playing "pin the wheel on the fire truck" and Jace is trying out his new tee-ball set from cousin Joey and Katie. Jace wasn't too crazy about wearing the blind fold so he did quite well at this game! Can't let any ice-cream go to waste:).

WELCOME, ENJOY THE GOOD TIMES! Monday, July 30, 2012. We had a blast from the past with Ashlyn's recent dance recital. It was called "At the Hop" and brought us all to the 1950's as she danced to The Twist, Splish Splash and Lollypop! Ashlyn did a great job and was cheered on by Mom, Dad, sister Kailey and her friend Paige. She must not have gotten enough dancing because afterwards she wanted to give us another concert outside:). WELCOME, ENJOY THE GOOD TIMES! Friday, October 12, 2012. Kailey's First Day of Preschool in her new 3-year-old class. Ashlyn's first day in Tedde the transitional kindergarten class at our local elementary school. Somehow Kailey and Jace shared an easel side with very little disagreement! They worked together nicely to create a beautiful painting. Ashlyn was happy to have her own side to imagine and create with. Here's Kailey in her preschool class. Her creativity seems endless.
