Janelle & Matt: September 2010
http://madmanvolleyball.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 26, 2010. Whew, we made it to 20 weeks! Its amazing to think that in just about 4 1/2 short months we will have a brand new baby GIRL! In our arms. We found out the sex about a week and a half ago and we are over the moon with excitement that we will be having a daughter! Of course the ultrasounds aren't 100% but the tech was quite confident that there will be a member of team pink joining our family. He drew on the rolling hills which turned out adorable. Janelle & Matt: April 2011
http://madmanvolleyball.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 25, 2011. Wow, what a whirlwind weekend of celebration for the Weaver household! Saturday we headed down to Tacoma with the little one and dropped her off with Janelle's parents for the night. It was the first night apart and while we missed our little peanut, we got a very welcome respite and a full night of sleep! To Celebrate Janelle's birthday and our 2nd anniversary, we stayed at the Silver Cloud on the water front. And had an amazing dinner at Stanely and Seaforts. YUM! She still has ...

Wow, its hard to believe our little Camille is already a month old, and yet neither of us can imagine life without her. She has gotten to meet lots of friends and family (unfortunately we don't have pics of everyone), and there are still more waiting in the wings! Grandma and Grandpa Weaver. Aunt Amy and Uncle John. Grandma and Grandpa Parker. Typical Crabby Patty at 1 am. Awesome Inc. t...

Tuesday, June 28, 2011. The Weaver fam made the trek to Mazama this year for Memorial day weekend. We didn't want to miss the annual pancake breakfast feast, so instead of frantically packing up and racing out the door Friday after work, we got every thing ready and then woke to our alarm clock Camille and were on the road by 5am Saturday morning. We headed back to Libby and John's home in Mazama where Janelle has been spending most of her memorial day weekends since she was five years old! Awesome Inc&#...

We weren't quick enough in getting her pictures so we had to wake her up, which she wasn't too thrilled about. Exciting changes over the last month: Camille has two teeth! She is sleeping through the night hooray! Judy and Strode Weaver. Love the photos. Cant wait to get my hands on that girl! She is the cutest! LOVE all the shots! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Monday, July 05, 2010. After a relaxing Saturday at home, that allowed us to catch up on some much needed sleep, we packed up to get ready for our adventure planned fo. And sipped on some of the unique and quite delicious home-brewed beverages. After. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). National Independence Day - 2010! Building By Adoption, Together With Love: May 2011
http://ouradoptionfamily.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 18, 2011. If that wasn't enough sand we had another day of sunshine so we ran to the beach. True the Washington beaches are more rock than sand but we found a small patch of not-to-rocky comfort. And after all boys can make use of water and earth of any kind. Tuesday, May 10, 2011. Switching our adoption routes. Nothing says sadness like the memory or "The Pit of Despair" in a whispery raspy voice (from The Princess Bride). Friday, May 6, 2011. On the adoption front I went to an FSA (Famil...

Building By Adoption, Together With Love: January 2011
http://ouradoptionfamily.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 22, 2011. So why is it in this world with all the polital correctness that drives us all nuts did I choose to become a strong advocate of using the correct "Adoption Terminology"? Good question, there are a few reasons. Adoption already has such a negative image. Language is a powerful tool in presenting adoption either negatively or positively. Giving away or giving up a child for adoption. A parent gave their child away? Giving up a child? Or "making an adoption plan". Real child or N...

Tuesday, February 5, 2013. In a lg (gallon) ziplock bad mix together 1 T Boraxo and I cup warm water. Mix until sudsay. In another lg (gallon) ziplock bag mix 1 cup of school glue with 1 cup of warm water. Combine the mixed bag of boraxo with the mixed bag of glue and add food coloring (we didn't have any with us at the hospital so ours remained white). Continue mixing until gak consistency is reached. Add rubber tubing or straws to blow bubbles in it for extra oral motor fun. My view this morning. The G...
