Wednesday, October 25, 2006. Here is the cabbage rubbed with rock salt and placed in 5 plastic bags. Softened cabbage (after 5 hours in the brine). All of my ingredients. From here they were placed in a corner for 3 days and then stored in the fridge. I have to admit that I have wasn't really a big fan of kimchi before. Tuesday, December 05, 2006. Home and feeling fine. At present I am home and doing well. I have residual pain in my abdomen, in my surgical spot, but nothing severe. Basically I am just taking it easy and living like a bum. I'm sleeping a lot and have begun to eat regular meals. Not much to report besides that. Well, "home" at last. Can't tell you how releived I am! Your tree looks great- and so do you by the way! Glad you're through the whole ordeal. It's great to hear that you're feeling better!

I shouldn't complain though. Nothing was worse than the stinky Halla General Hospital. I may as well have been in Mexico. Its been good to hear from you all. Monday, July 31, 2006. Motorcycle Diaries- Day 2. The Brits finally show. Cool swimming spot we found along the coast. More of the white sand beach. Sam eatin lunch after a swim (check out the sweet hat). Rocky beach on the southern part of the island. In day two I was joined by my fellow ecc employees Sam and Sally.
