http://gigglesngrinsphoto.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 30, 2006. A big sigh of relief can be heard all along the gulf coast today. It's the end of hurricane season. We dodged it this year, no major storms, no minor storms, no evacuations. This has been a quiet year, and for that we are thankful. Posted by Life In Motion at 3:56 PM. Wednesday, November 29, 2006. Waiting . . . A message for us from the Louisiana Road Home Program website: Your option letter has been created. Singing: waiting, waiting, waiting, I'm so sick of waiting. Just a ...

The Showroom: Reading....
http://maplethree.typepad.com/showroom/2011/01/reading.html
January 24, 2011. I have 2 boys, 9, and I need to chase them so that they pick a book once in a while to read. I have a daughter, 5, who I need to chase so that she will do something else than read! She taught herself to read when she started school this year. She just loves it. Whenever the house becomes too quite I know I will find her, with a book, on the stairs, in the playroom, at the dining table.reading. This was taken last week, ski socks and all. Posted at 04:31 PM in Daily Life. Amy - my words.

Laquo; Time to resurface. Reading. ». January 23, 2011. 3 months after the move and we are loving every minute of this new house. It turned out exactly the way we hoped, and so far everything still works! In 2010, I watched my kids grow up leaps and being interested in whats happening in the world. I watched the boys make choices for themselves and living with the consequences. I watched Manouk teaching herself to read so intensely. Its been tough at times but surely worth it. Read more with Manouk.

August 23, 2010. Everyone survived it pretty well. Well except for the weather. Pouring rain in the middle of August (which in my mind = summer month) is rather depressing. Calling my mum to hear that the swimming pool shows a water temperature of 29 is even more depressing. I did much less that I had planned to this week. Instead I caught up with friends and tried to think of the 5 weeks ahead leading to THE move. Posted at 10:54 AM in Daily Life. August 16, 2010. It's been very quiet at my house today.

February 04, 2011. Went in a flash. Thats what happens when you cram 5 months of work into 1, to be ready in time for my review on 2 Feb. It was a crazy month to say the least, and panic nearly hit me on that last week trying to get everything ready for a shoot with 5 kids. There were a couple of days I was ready to throw the sponge but as Mich says:. Dont, its a bad example for the kids. I cannot post the other kids, but here are 2 of mine. The attitude is shining thorugh, dont you think? Amy - my words.

Friday, January 29, 2010. I've never had short hair. How fast will it grow? And what upset her the most."I need long hair for my dance recital so I can put it up like all the other girls". Oh dear my Mack, you don't leave a stone unturned to you! The unknown remained unknown. It could have been something from her princess b-day party on Saturday or her brother has a bad habit of taking the gum out of his mouth and "saving it for later". So, here is our trip to Haircut. Good thing it's Friday. Oh yes, Eli...

Life as we Live it: March 2010

Friday, March 26, 2010. Out with the old, in with the new. That's kind of what I feel like. the weather, the house stuff, etc. And, maybe it's not so much "in with the new" but more to do with "out with the old". Secondly, the girls went to see their cousins in Missouri and my dad took the 'lil man for the night which gave Mark and I a rare opportunity to go out. Yeah! I think we've finally wrapped up summer plans for the kids = ) This will be a huge relief off my plate! We will have a nanny! Schuyler an...
