Now on Tumblr →. Professional critics and appropriate reviews. August 21, 2013. I’m going to apologize in advance for a small rant I’ve had brewing for a little while, and which finally came to a head with the new Mortal Instruments movie (which I have yet to see, but doesn’t matter for this post). The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones came out today, and there are already plenty of ratings up on the site for it, from both critics and audience. As of writing this, this is how it looks:. Of the movie in w...

Professional critics and appropriate reviews. Writing process blog hop →. December 5, 2013. I can see I’ve fallen into the habit of neglecting this blog. I think I’m just finding it a little too solitary for my social media needs at the moment. Like standing at the front of the room presenting, rather than mingling amongst a crowd – when your audience is small, you notice more, and it feels more lonely. Another idea, shiny and new. And the winner is…. →. Scripts and opening night. April 11, 2013. Back in December one of my CPs, Charlee Vale. Asked me to read a project she was working on. It was a script for a play, her graduate thesis. I’d never read a script before, and I’ve seen a few plays but not in quite a number of years now, but I’ve read plenty of stories and I’d loved Charlee’s novels that I’d read, so I agreed. It’s fantastic, and deserved. Hope you have many more! Another idea, shiny and new.
