Initiatives - Tower Lakes Community Foundation

We are planning a number of near-term and mid-term initiatives to benefit Tower Lakes. In a landmark project, the Village of Tower Lakes, with support from the Tower Lakes Community Foundation, announced that they had cooperated with Cuba Township, Barrington Area Conservation Trust and Citizens For Conservation to provide funding to purchase a 15.5 acre parcel, known as Barclay’s Woods in. Tower Lakes and permanently protect it as a nature preserve.

In the spirit of improving our community, the Tower Lakes Community Foundation will evaluate grant proposals in the following categories:. There are two types of grants:. Up to $500. For ideas and projects that require funding for materials, labor, supplies, educational expenses or research/development. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. No reporting required.
