Thursday, March 24, 2011. Kennedi's personality is starting to emerge more and more. She doesn't exactly use words to communicate- but her face tells all. In nursery- she scowls . . . at strangers- she scowls. She can be hilarious too! We had a lot of fun celebrating Valentine’s Day this year. We took a note out of Leslie Nope’s notebook and did our very own Galentine’s Dinner. It was a blast! So much good food when it’s all girls getting together. I was STUFFED by the time the night was over. We also decided to get a group of girls together and go to Vegas. When I was 13 and my friend convinced me to go out for the cross country team, I never thought I’d actually enjoy running. I only did it then for exercise. In 2010 when I picked it back up after a convincingly long seven year absence, I again did it only for exercise. Now I just really like it. And my feet don’t like it when I do. Heslop Family Reunion 2013. The last week in July my mom’s side of the family, the Heslops, all gathered in Moses Lake, WA at the farmhouse for a reunion. Kelli, Tanner and I drove up late Thursday night. We woke up to the sound of four wheeler engines and Tanner immediately had to get on and go for a ride with grandpa. We did a little white washing. Wednesday, February 3, 2010. Charli had a fun winter play day indoors. We filled up a plastic box with snow and added some food coloring to it. We pulled out the beach bag and let her have at it. She loved it! Outside of the kitchen window, there are ice-cicles and Charli loves knocking them down and sucking on them. Bear Lake Polar Plunge. And when he was done, he went right back to work in the office sporting this awesome getup- soaking wet shorts and a pair of snow boots. Love it! Jon Shae and Emmeline.
