Life in the mitt: Getting Shroomy
http://livinginthemiddleofthemitt.blogspot.com/2011/10/getting-shroomy.html
Life in the mitt. Wednesday, October 19, 2011. I had a "doh" moment last week. Last month in our RSM (that's what we call our monthly Relief Society Meeting) we taught the sisters some recipes that are contained in a jar. It is from a book called "Dinner is in the Jar". The ingredients are usually pasta, grains, legumes and dried foods and spices. Add ons can be canned meat or vegies. I could dry my own for half the cost! So I did. 11 pounds worth. My basement still smells like mushrooms. After drying th...

MacKenzie Family: July 2010
http://mackenzie4family.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Bobby, Debbie, Liam, Kailey, Madison, Avery. Wednesday, July 28, 2010. MCAD and the Detroit Zoo. The girls with Aunt Sam. The Seal was totally checking Kailey out! He kept going up for air then coming back down to let the fresh water flowing out this hole blow on his face. It was so cute and he was quite entertaining for lots of spectators! Kailey's medical peer group met at the Detroit Zoo a couple of weeks ago. It was great to meet some other families with children who also have MCAD. 4th of July pics.

Life in the mitt: Something Green
http://livinginthemiddleofthemitt.blogspot.com/2011/10/something-green.html
Life in the mitt. Tuesday, October 18, 2011. The next picture on my list was something green. I didn't want to go with the typical- an outdoor picture. There is plenty of green here. At least there was . . . At any rate, I thought I would show what I had for breakfast one morning. I have been making smoothies with fresh spinach but often had the problem of some in the bag going bad before I could eat it. I sometimes forget I have spinach in my fridge . . I can hear my kids groaning. Me and my main Man.

Life in the mitt: September 2009
http://livinginthemiddleofthemitt.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Life in the mitt. Sunday, September 27, 2009. Our new baby has arrived. And he is so considerate! He waited until the day after I arrived before he made his appearance. And he is the most adorable thing ever, of course. I know most of you read his momma's blog, so I will try to put some pictures in that you haven't seen already. And these also are for the benefit of missionary son, who has been waiting patiently for news. So here we go . . . on to the hospital, during a contraction. Then the wall color:.

Life in the mitt: August 2009
http://livinginthemiddleofthemitt.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Life in the mitt. Wednesday, August 26, 2009. The Washing Machine did it. You know how clothing items seem to disappear after the laundry is done? And it is always a mystery where those things go? We can only assume that the washing machine is the culprit. Well, I have a story to tell you about missing clothes. I can laugh about it now. So I went through the clothes, checked the laundry, checked a few other less obvious places. Then we wondered "Did we leave them in Chicago? Fast forward to last Monday w...

Bobby, Debbie, Liam, Kailey, Madison, Avery. Monday, August 2, 2010. This is what our bed looks like every morning. Girls strewn about everywhere. I'm not sure how I feel about this. In one respect it is quite cute but I like my bed and right now I only get a sliver of it! We've got some habits to break. Posted by Debbie and Bobby. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
