Wednesday, December 1, 2010. A teacher's holiday break. But I aslo decided that holiday breaks are much more meaningful with a child in the house. There is never a dull moment when our families come visit because of Hadley. There are so many "firsts" to celebrate during the holidays that I don't want to sleep in until 9:00. And good news, my coffee can stay warm due to an early Christmas present from David's mother (Keurig). I think Albert misses grandma just as much as Hadley does.). OH, hi patti p!

Thursday, February 3, 2011. Girlfriend likes to play in the dirt at daycare. Not only does she like to get dirty, but she likes to eat the dirt too. Hadley moved to the big girl room this week. Tuesday, December 21, 2010. My neighbors made us some red velvet cupcakes with walnut cream cheese icing for Christmas. Delicious. Well delicious looking. My fat dog ate ALL of them. Wednesday, February 27, 2013. One of our last adventures was to Crested Butte and Aspen. Crested Butte is one of mine and Doug's favorite places and some of our favorite people live out there, so we knew we had to show it to Darby! We hung out with Matt, Julie, Penn and their zoo of animals (3 dogs, 1 cat and 5 chickens! For a few days. They took us cross country skiing and skiing at Crested Butte mountain. Obviously, it was a super serious x-country adventure. Not a ton of snow, but lots of fun exploring.
