Mind the Gap: Hakan Wayne Corcoran
http://pscorcoran.blogspot.com/2011/04/hakan-wayne-corcoran.html
After nine months of waiting, our little guy made his apperance on April 18, 2011 at 1:37 pm weighing 7 pounds, 10 ounces and 21 inches long! It was an uneventful labor and delivery as there wasn't any labor and the delivery was a planned C-section! Even though we had the C-section preliminary scheduled for a few weeks before, we kept it a secret to keep some of the surprise of it for our family and friends. And afternoon tea each day, including finger sandwiches and scones with clotted cream.

Sheldonville: December 2008
http://sheldonville.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Reflections on Life by Aimeelynn Estelle Sheldon and Eric Scott Sheldon. Thursday, December 25, 2008. Christmas with the Sheldons. We very much enjoyed spending Christmas at my parents' house. Both Mom and Dad still do most of the meal preparation while us kids help with setting the table and loading the dishwasher. Behind Mom in the picture below are the tupperware containers filled with all sorts of Christmas goodies that she and Dad had made before we all arrived. Before we open presents every year, w...

The Brandt Blog: June 2010

Tuesday, June 29, 2010. On Saturday we went to a local dairy farm for their annual "Dairy Days." It was VERY hot but we had a good time, and luckily got there early so we didn't have to wait in long lines for food or other activities. Here are some pics from our day:. The "Corn Box" was probably their favorite thing; they could've played in here all day. They actually had 4 of these huge corn boxes, and it was such a great idea and good alternative to sand! Here is Emily making a snow, I mean corn angel.

A Trip Over Seas. Here is a post from Annika Johnson, one of Susan's cousin. Annika visited with us from July 21st to August 4th with side trips to Dublin and Paris as well! Unfortunately, because of the delay, we missed our flight to Dublin on Friday. We had to rebook a costly flight but made it there! In Dublin, we saw the Wicklow Mountains, along with the Powerscourt waterfall, which was filmed in the movie P.S I Love You. Our next destination was Paris, which I loved! We first went to the Notre Dame ...

Mind the Gap: October 2010

Back to the Homeland. We made our way to the ferry crossing to cross the Sonjeford to Hella and then onto Dragsvik, where we were staying for the night. Now, being that it was the beginning of October, it was the off season for visiting the fjords and a lot of hotels and restaurants were closed. Dragsvik was a tiny town in the first place and the only place in town serving food was our hotel! So we asked if they could perhaps just make us burgers at the bar and they graciously agreed! We eventually made ...

Mind the Gap: September 2010
http://pscorcoran.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
We made it back to the airport without getting pulled over, thankfully, and were on our way back to London after a full ten days of one of the most beautiful, restful, and perfect holidays we’ve had so far. I'm On A Boat - Part Tre. I'm On A Boat - Part Duex. The next morning Susan and I decided to rent ATVs to explore the island some before we set out to sea. The island was suppose to have some picturesque villages so we figured we might as well check them out! We motored to the southern tip of the isla...

Reflections on Life by Aimeelynn Estelle Sheldon and Eric Scott Sheldon. Friday, September 26, 2008. A Life Worth Emulating. My Grandpa White recently passed away on September 22, 2008, just a few months shy of his 88th birthday and just a few months greater than three years after my Grandma White had passed away. They were closer to me than most grandparents would be to most grandchildren. Here are just a few of the things I learned from them:. What in the world happened to you? I remember still experie...

How to Get Rid of That Annoying Itch. Since we are hosting guests this spring for almost six straight weeks we have been very busy planning lots of trips. While planning these trips for the last few weeks we began to get the itch to travel, but it was still a good month away! Now for those who don’t know who Flat Stanley is, he is a boy who wanted to see the world. So he decided to make himself flat, and mail himself to different destinations. It was our job to find some clothes for Flat St...Then, we br...

Sheldonville: The Friendship Challenge
http://sheldonville.blogspot.com/2009/02/friendship-challenge.html
Reflections on Life by Aimeelynn Estelle Sheldon and Eric Scott Sheldon. Saturday, February 28, 2009. Pictured above is Jen, Nicole, and Allison (with me laying behind them, of course). The friendship challenge is a challenge of whether your friendship will withstand this ten-day process of making bread. How it works is you receive a starter bag of goo on day 1. One might think to oneself, "Hey, this doesn't seem so tough.". Here I am doing just that. Mmm, mmm, good. Aimee, Aimee, Aimee, I love it! Othel...
