Timbo's Beautiful: July 2011
http://robindfowler.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 30, 2011. God has called us to live holy lives, not impure lives. 1 Thessalonians 4:7. Holy, an adjective, meaning consecrated; dedicated or devoted to the service of GOD. For the longest time in my life I never really thought out holiness and how it affected my life. The only time I thought about holiness was in relation to God. I totally understood the concept that God is holy; therefore, He is "set apart" from us. What is my personal response to God's forgiveness? Thursday, July 28, 2011.

Timbo's Beautiful: December 2010
http://robindfowler.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 21, 2010. The Reason for the Season. I do realize that the title has been way over used. My use of it is to convey a different message. I do believe that Jesus is truly the reason we celebrate this holiday season. I do realize that Jesus wasn't born during December. I also realize that the holiday Christmas is modeled from a pagan holiday. One of the reasons Jesus came is given in Matthew 5:17 "I have not come to abolish them (the Law and the Prophets) but to fulfill them.". When Jesus ...

Saturday, September 8, 2012. For Better For Worse. Reminded me the other day as. I was sobbing over something minor. We were having a heart to heart that September is always an emotional month for us. I don't know why it seems to surprise me when it happens but it does every.single.year. I am shocked when my emotions begin to ramp up at the beginning of the month and they continue through the month until October and fall rolls around. Monday, September 3, 2012. To Have and To Hold Part 2. Darlene suggest...

Thoughts From the Minivan: Change the world...
http://fivesouths.blogspot.com/2013/03/my-family-has-been-watching-history.html
Thoughts From the Minivan. Just one mama's musings about her life, her family, and her walk with God. My family has been watching The History Channel's miniseries "The Bible" for the past few weeks and the kids have been waiting (im)patiently for Jesus to come on the scene. As an aside, they have heard Bible stories all their lives, so they were rapt with attention to detail.and sorry, Mark Burnett, but according to 9 year old Griffin, you got quite a few details wrong. What are we going to do? If it mea...

Thoughts From the Minivan: Birth Control. Gulp.

Thoughts From the Minivan. Just one mama's musings about her life, her family, and her walk with God. Birth Control. Gulp. Growing up in the Southern Baptist tradition, there are several things that baffled me throughout the years. My parents didn't like it when I questioned them.they usually either brushed me off completely or they just finished the conversation with "because we're right." This parenting technique was an easy out for them, but for me it created even more. To me, they. Combination oral c...

Thoughts From the Minivan: "Mother of the Year" candidate...EPIC FAIL

Thoughts From the Minivan. Just one mama's musings about her life, her family, and her walk with God. Mother of the Year" candidate.EPIC FAIL. As I may have mentioned before, I have a son, Griffin, who is 6. He is in Kindergarten. He does not. Do mornings. At all. Typical early morning Griff-isms are:. You never loved me! If you loved me, you wouldn't make me get up! Get out of here! Usually accompanied by the stink eye). I'm not going to school! I'm never going to school again! He blamed that on Big Dad...

Timbo's Beautiful: To Have and to Hold
http://robindfowler.blogspot.com/2012/08/to-have-and-to-hold.html
Friday, August 31, 2012. To Have and to Hold. Fifty years is a long time. When something lasts 50 years we are impressed whether it is a car, a piece of furniture, or a marriage. Fifty years ago my parents stood in a church with their family and friends and they said vows that sounded a lot like this. For better or worse. They experienced both in family, with churches and with friends. F or richer, for poorer. In sickness and in health. They have experienced both and seen God carry them through.
