The new zealand story. Söndag, oktober 05, 2008. Söderhavet del 2 - Rarotonga. Första dagen kollade vi mest in huvudstaden Avarua, som inte helt förvånande inte är så värst stor. Handlade lite förnödenheter så vi skulle kunna laga mat. Rätt dyrt i affärerna, fast det är mest färsk frukt och grönt flygfraktat från NZ som är tokdyrt. Cross island track går upppå 450m höjd eller något sådant, upp till the needle som den spetsiga klippan kallas. Den är en rest av stelnad lava där det runtomkring lavakana...

The new zealand story. Söndag, juli 15, 2007. Halvgammal nyhet: den australiensiska avdelningen av spelsiten IGN har utsett GripShift som det bästa spelet på Playstation Network. Fast de kanske är lite partiska iom. att det är ett spel från australasien :). Exempel på banor från GripShift. De går ofta ut på att hitta fiffiga genvägar, på den till vänster kan man tex köra ut ur toppen på loopen, rolla runt och landa vid mållinjen. Under veckan kikade jag också på jesus camp. The new zealand story. Måndag, oktober 13, 2008. Söderhavet del 3 - Cairns. James Cook Highway norrut från Cairns var en ganska tjusig vägsträcka. Vi bodde på en fin Holiday Park, Pinnacle Village vid Wonga Beach norr om Mossman. På vägen tillbaka dit från Cape Trib stannade vi på en restaurang och åt. En saftig stek med pommes och sallad för min del, slurp. De där rötterna som låg längs med marken kunde vara 100m långa minst! Bilder från inlandsvägen tillbaka mot Cairns via Mt Molloy, Mareeba och Kurand...

The new zealand story. Lördag, februari 24, 2007. Hur latt som helst! Alla som ar sugna pa trivsamma kontorsjobb med ok lon kan fundera pa att flytta till Wellington. ;). Och det maste ha gatt bra, for de ville att jag skulle borja jobba nasta dag! Och det ar roligt hittills maste jag saga, jag gillar att strukturera upp saker. Lördagen den 15 september 2007 är en dag vi aldrig kommer att glömma. Det var dagen då fjället visade sig från sin allra vackraste sida. Naturen hade klätt sig i höstfärger precis som vi önskat och solen vågade sig fram så vi kunde skina ikapp med den. Søndag 7. april 2013. Søndag 11. november 2012. Tirsdag 6. november 2012. Tobias: "Hvorfor kan speil være akkurat som oss? Fordi vi skal se om vi har klippa oss sånn rar? På tide med en oppdatering om diabetesen kanskje. Hba1c (langtidsblodsukker) på 6.5 på begge gutta når vi var på kontroll for en måned siden. Det er jo veldig, veldig bra. Litt spesielt at de har samme hba1c til tider, men flott uansett! Vi gikk ut i fra sykehuset og var kjempefornøyde og glade, altså et aldri så lite klapp på skuldra.
