Where We Have Been. Monday, April 8, 2013. Christmas Markets 2012 Berlin, Germany and a bit of Poland. This year, we went to Berlin, Germany. While the markets were our main objective, we had a craving for a history lesson on the Cold War and WWII. First of off, we had to get to Berlin. Eric coaxed me into flying to Poznan, Poland for the night to then take the train to Berlin the next morning. The Christmas market across from the Hilton. Outdoor bar serving my favorite, gluhwein.
