This was mainly because my fellow trainees and I decided to go for a few drinks (there were still some people I hadn’t formally met yet) when the day had ended. Wow After a day spent meeting, greeting and interviewing random strangers (yes they threw us straight into the deep end) I think it’s fair to say that my first day at journalism school was a success. By success I mean the modules look challenging, the tutors are great and my classmates seem absolutely lovely, which is what I was most nervous about. February 28, 2011 at 8:16 PM.
