The idea of Score is to be a system for document retrieval using Formal Concept Analysis (FCA) in a web context. Its basic parts are:. An indexer scans a number of documents and finds attributes to describe them, typically keywords. A relational database stores the references to the documents, the attributes and their relation. An FCA module creates a formal concept lattice from the database and offers a query API. A Java Servlet will offer the query features to the user. We can avoid empty result sets.

We want to use XML to store Conceptual Graphs (CGs). In an easy to process interchange format, leveraging the power of the XML related tools like DOM. This process involves defining a data model for CGs which we try to keep in sync with the draft for an ISO CG standard. On the other hand we want to achieve as much interoperability with other XML formats as possible, once the core CG features are implemented in the format we want to use standards like XLink.
