It's a good life! Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Last weekend we made our annual family trip to the pumpkin patch and then capped off a great morning with a late breakfast at the pancake house. It's a good life! Thursday, December 01, 2011. We enjoyed a FULL Thanksgiving this year! Our day started bright and early, (and thankfully DRY), watching Tod play in the first annual Dad's Turkey Bowl with some friends at Lake Wilderness Park. It's a good life! Saturday, December 03, 2011. Advent - Day 3. Get bundled up and go watch a Christmas Parade.". According to Macy, this was the best advent surprise yet! The theme of the parade was, "Christmas in Whoville" - and we saw a lot. It was a bit of a redneck parade, so we fit in quite well! Very old-school with lots of candy being tossed to the kids and horns blaring. Our favorite parts were the marching bands, the drill teams and the dogs on parade. Cold, but so much fun!

We got up early Saturday morning and drove through the Icefields Parkway and then South to go back home. We stopped off at Parker Ridge to take a break from the car ride and hike up to the ridge.
