Why don’t more women ride? October 13, 2012. Cycling rates amongst women in Australia are low. For a sustained period across 2003-2009 under 2 percent of cycling journeys in Australia were undertaken by women. The most recent Sydney cycling survey showed that in 2001 when the survey was conducted, almost double the number of men had cycled in the past week than women. How this is done, I’m not sure. I am an experienced commuter cyclist who hails from Adelaide (but lives in Sydney). Today I Feel Like Me. Monday, February 11, 2008. Hi Everyone. I am back. I haven't posted since July. I guess I just wasn't in the mood, and I always feel so busy, and tired. Well, partly this is due to the fact that I am chasing my 22-month old son around. He is so busy! Finished his physical therapy and occupational therapy and is doing well! Partly this is due to me being pregnant, again! I am 23 weeks along, and we are having a girl this time! I will post more later, I just wanted to leave an update.
