I once heard a pastor say the third commandment is possibly the most neglected because of the tendency we all have to dismiss its significance. He meant that it’s easy to let this command slide when there are other more serious-sounding sins happening, like, do not kill your neighbor! Wrong Honoring your mom and dad? Sometimes not easy but God says it’s important. It’s in the top 10! Unless we are praying or having Bible study?
