Wednesday, April 3, 2013. This week, Mohs celebrated his first Easter. we did an egg hunt with limited success. Until Mohs discovered peeps. then egg-hunting became serious business. He figured that out quick. by the time we made it to Siti and Grandpa's, it took 3 minutes of inattention for Mohs to find P's Easter basket, tear it off the table, open the eggs and start scarfing down some jelly beans. (we obviously made a broad exception for choking hazards for the occasion.). Days of Mohs Past.

Wednesday, May 1, 2013. Mohs is the smartest baby ever. no really. He already climbs up the playground, and puts himself down the slide, head first. He claps for himself, points, and waves his hand convincingly at the things he needs. he knows how to kick back and chillax in P's chair with his cheerios. He can even drink out of a straw! Wednesday, June 27, 2012. Mohs is slowly learning to be more assertive, so I worry less about him getting lost in the background of clanging dishes, crazy toddler antics and bicycle jibber-jabber. he has a very distinctive "meh, meh" cry (whereas P was more of a "knee, knee" that reminded me of Monty Python. Wednesday, November 28, 2012. Here i caught him just before he and the killer whale he was riding dove over the side. he's so brave. i love this photo because it shows his little nose and eyelashes are so perfect. Mohs is also old enough that silence is no longer golden, but suspicious. i caught him silently gnoshing on this three-day-old apple that P left on his exersaucer. his little huddled posture and fervent glances gave away that he knew he had struck gold and was biding his time. Wednesday, July 25, 2012. Mohs is sharing his love with other women this week since I've gone back to work. he's proving to be just as charming and adaptable as his brother, but only wakes up once in the night. so I have to enjoy every minute. Wednesday, March 27, 2013. Mohs is either an early talker, or I am so used to baby gibberish that I'm better at picking up words. I swear he picked up my phone the other day and said "hi Daddy."
