Wednesday, May 28, 2014. Roman was so excited to make the swim team. He has officially moved up from kermit's to the swim team. He has always felt so comfortable in the water and our "little manatee" (his nickname since he loves to just float underwater) and felt like such a big boy to be on the team. Tuesday, June 11, 2013. Roman finished his 2nd year of Kermits and it was such a wonderful experience. It took a few days to get him motivated to get in the pool, but by the end of week 1 he was loving it. They have 5 weeks of private swim lessons Monday thru Friday and then we did 3 extra weeks of Kermits Plus. By the end of the program he is officially water safe! His favorite teacher, Cavin. Nana and Pop came to cheer Roman on during his Mini Meet. His medal for completing his lap at the Mini Meet.

Tuesday, April 15, 2014. We had our 1st Ski Adventure as a family and it went awesome. We had no expectations, but were blown away with how excited both kids were to hit the slopes. We were blessed with the best weather, which I think was a huge factor in the kids happiness. Not a lot of snow when we 1st arrived, but the kids were excited to staying at a cabin. We were so happy to have Pop with us on vacation. Roman finally found snow at Northstar. Smores at the Ritz. Doesn't get much better than this.

Friday, November 21, 2014. Roman's 1st Day of Kindergarten. Romanhow can you be starting Kindergarten? August 25, 2014. Excited to walk to school! Love our 5 minute walk across the street. After living next to Valle Verde for the last 9 years, we finally were able to enjoy our quick commute to school. I can't tell you how much I love living walking distance to school. Wednesday, March 26, 2014. One of my most favorite people in the whole world turned 40 (yes I know she doesn't even look 30), so we went to Napa to celebrate. Keith planned a wonderful weekend away including wine tasting, a beautiful hotel and a fun dinner. Couldn't think of a better way to honor such an amazing friend. Cheers at Chimney Rock. Was very impressed with how many glasses of wine this guy could carry. We got treated like royalty. Lunch at Rutherford Hill. Always love getting away with this guy.

Friday, February 14, 2014. Our 1st stop was Manhattan Beach. We loved staying at the Manhattan Beach Marriott. Great location (close to the beach), restaurant and good pool for the kids. This was eating breakfast at 9am. Can you believe how beautiful the weather was. Paisley and Roman loved the beach and playing in the sand. I couldn't believe it was January. It was 70 degrees and perfectly clear. The guys loved the water. And they are heading in. This boy has my heart. Water Sand = Heaven for Roman.

Tuesday, August 20, 2013. Summer with the Family. Our hearts are full of love for the amazing generosity of family and friends. We are so thankful for the meals, prayers, phone calls and visits. My Mom lived a selfless life and gave so much to everyone during her life and now is her time to receive it all back. We feel the love! Some of my favorite pics of some special intimate moments. Monday, September 9, 2013. Last Year and First Year of Preschool. Roman just started his last year at Walnut Avenue in the 4's Program and Paisley began her first year in the 3's. This preschool has been so wonderful to our family. The teachers, the children and celebrations are great. I love that the school focuses on building confidence, while fostering good morals and values. Someone asked me the other day if this preschool was play or academic based. I had no idea!
