I love spending time with this silly girl! Today I had the privilege of going to her activity where we played games, pampered each other and had snacks! It was well organized and such a blast! I love the Faith In God program and the women who put forth their time and effort to create wholesome and thought-provoking activities for girls in our neighborhood. Ash sure loves it, and so do I! Wonders of the White House: Stir Fry

It's been a while since I've subjected the world to a foodie post. This is a fall back recipe at our house. We throw in any veggie we have, a meat, usually chicken, and the sauce will determine the flavor. Tonight we splashed it with Yoshidas For an Asian flare, an all around favorite, and served it with pasta and Costco pot stickers. Especially nice to have a quick-prep meal during finals week. Me and my other half met in 1995, got married in 1998. We have always joked that with our initials we make up BS! Hence this blog. We have three amazing kids that make our life fun. Wonders of the White House: 6th grade play

We had a fun night at (BJ's) Mom's school watching the play her 6th graders have been preparing for all year. It was a great cultural snack. Even though Aj resisted with all his might, he actually enjoyed it, and even got roped into helping out with a backdrop! I also loved how she pre-reprimanded parents about being disrespectful and chatty. I'm glad she did it because it is so true. Sometimes my kids stay things that just stick with me. A couple months ago Carson informed me that he wants to be an elementary teacher. He also declared that when it is time for the kids to get ready to go home he is going to do one of two things:. I'll tell the kids it's time to get ready to go home so when they all have their backpacks on and are ready to go I'll call on one of them to give a closing prayer. Then I'll make sure that no one is peeking and if they are peeking I'll tell them, "hey!

Yeah, my heart does a flip every time he does. It's hard to believe he has been doing this for 3 years (and he still loves it). It's a daily occurrence at our house for him to fly instead of walk. You'd think with as little as his feet touch the ground I would save money on shoes? I am so proud of this crazy cutie and love to watch the reactions of his many admirers as he corks and gainers and cart-double-full's his way through life. (Whatever that means;).
