And it just never worked out. But in January I found out that Disney on Ice was coming to Milwaukee (on the only Saturday Sophie didn't have basketball! Then headed to one of the many farms (this one German immigrants). The kids got to collect real eggs from real chickens in the coop. We didn't know about it last year, but we heard about it from lots of people this year and decided to check it out. We were all very impressed! There were a few different themes. Lights. Ordinary Days, Extraordinary Moments. A peek into our life. Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Dress up, Beach and Big-Girl Bed. We had about three weeks between summer trips. Don't worry, we rocked it. One evening the Ladies put on a dress up/magic/variety show. It was audience participation and we all got hats (and wings for me). I am pretty sure J and I killed it in these duds. A couple of silly performers. I am so lucky I get to be along for the ride. C loved the sand. He didn't want to get in that water.
