http://resuri-nihon.blogspot.com/2013/01/2012-in-review.html
Blunders in the World of Wonders. Friday, January 25, 2013. It seems I haven't posted on this blog since last January, so I figured I had better get to it. Let's sum up 2012. It was a doozy! This should be fun! Right at the beginning of 2012, I started a dress blog. I wanted to make one dress a month for a year. It turned out that I got through six dresses. I haven't given up. I'm still going to make those last 6 dresses, guess it will just take me two years instead of one! This is my life. It would appe...

Blunders in the World of Wonders: An owl and his squirrel buddy
http://resuri-nihon.blogspot.com/2013/06/an-owl-and-his-squirrel-buddy.html
Blunders in the World of Wonders. Wednesday, June 05, 2013. An owl and his squirrel buddy. I made these for a friend's newborn baby girl. My owl skills are pretty proficient but gotta work more on my squirrels. I followed a pattern for the squirrel and really stuggled with how the eyes turned out. I'm bad with faces. Just need more practice. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). This is my life. Welcome to the world of Leslie Harker (as scary as that sounds). Learn to Sew with the Home Ec eCourse!

Blunders in the World of Wonders: Whoooooo
http://resuri-nihon.blogspot.com/2012/01/whoooooo.html
Blunders in the World of Wonders. Monday, January 23, 2012. I got creative this weekend. I made 4 pairs of earrings, two necklaces, and knit one very cute little owl. I was pretty unsuccessful with my dress making, so I felt compelled to accomplish something else. Here is the cutest little owl! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). This is my life. Welcome to the world of Leslie Harker (as scary as that sounds). I came here from New York City, lured by a grinning boy who said I would love it.

Blunders in the World of Wonders: May 2010
http://resuri-nihon.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Blunders in the World of Wonders. Saturday, May 08, 2010. Spring has brought not just flowers, but friends and fun. A few weeks ago, some college friends got together and spent a few days hanging out. Andrea and Suzanne flew to NYC and met up with Liz, Lauren and Me. On Friday, we did some sightseeing in the city, ate some cupcakes, and wore ourselves out talking and walking. One of the highlights being a doggy daycare, near Lauren's house. Thanks for the good times ladies! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Blunders in the World of Wonders: Knitting while away
http://resuri-nihon.blogspot.com/2013/06/knitting-while-away.html
Blunders in the World of Wonders. Wednesday, June 05, 2013. Recently, I've been put on a project which requires traveling abroad. On my first trip, I brought some sewing projects and some yarn. I quickly learned that I was way more motivated to knit than to sew. I like doing my sewing projects in my "workshop" (aka the kitchen table). So on my second trip I filled my suit case up with yarn. Every time I go in the store I'm like, "I can make this.". I also bought some cotton yarn called Lecco. For now, I ...

Blunders in the World of Wonders: September 2010
http://resuri-nihon.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Blunders in the World of Wonders. Sunday, September 19, 2010. Horseback Riding and Apple Picking. So, Saturday Greg and I got up at 7am to make it to the place we were going. He said wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes, so I was pretty sure what we were doing. I did mention that it was "our" anniversary and that jumping out of a plane, was not my idea of fun. This was just to allay my fears because who knows what we could have been doing. It was a great day, making me one lucky girl! Now, we have a...

Blunders in the World of Wonders: October 2009
http://resuri-nihon.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Blunders in the World of Wonders. Tuesday, October 27, 2009. Autumn in New York. The colors are so warm and the crisp weather invites snuggling under warm blankets. There is no other season that makes me sigh with contentment the way this one does. What else has fall brought me? Well, I have had the opportunity to check out a part of New Jersey that I wouldn't have been able to otherwise and to try sailing for the first time, thanks to a special guy. Blunders in the World of Wonders: A catch up on New Things
http://resuri-nihon.blogspot.com/2011/06/catch-up-on-new-things.html
Blunders in the World of Wonders. Thursday, June 09, 2011. A catch up on New Things. Recently, things have been a' changin! Since December, Greg and I have been moving and shaking. The first biggest change is our apartment. As most of you know, the swinging pad we had in Ocean Grove was pretty nice! It is the third floor of an old victorian house. It had everything we wanted and a HUGE deck! The only catch was, no pets! After we moved in we started making and doing all the projects we had planned while w...

Blunders in the World of Wonders: August 2010
http://resuri-nihon.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Blunders in the World of Wonders. Wednesday, August 04, 2010. This is my aunt and uncle's dog, Tess. She is the smartest and cutest westie! This my father and I out hiking in John Bryan State Park. I never thought I would be such a fierce defender of the Midwest, but it seems that it is my banner to wave. Just like I had to defend Americans while being abroad, now I defend the Midwest. This is partly my inspiration for writing this blog. Now let me explain why the Midwest is best. This is just a taste of...
